I am a pensioner and I don’t mind sharing some pension with you for your worthy cause. Please restart your crowd funding, for legal representation in a corporate manslaughter charge and anything else you can think of. Before I retired I pounded the motorways nearly every day and felt really safe. Three lanes gave room for manoeuvre in the event of a crash directly in front of you, the full width of the motorway being full gives no room at all.. I am frightened to death of the motorways at the moment and travel on A roads wherever possible for this very reason. Makes nonsense of why motorways were invented. The main reason why the authorities are dragging their heels is the high cost of new bridges, of greater span, and laying new tarmac and foundations. Could you approach some of the many philanthropists to fund a few new bridges and tarmac as a publicity stunt. , the newspapers would pick up the story because it is a public interest issue. More power to your elbow on this matter, I don’t have a family member being killed on smart motorways but I think it tragic and avoidable for those that have.

Hi Thank you or your message of support, we wouldn’t need a fund raiser for the corporate manslaughter charges as Corporate Manslaughter is a police issue, not a private/civil legal matter, as the police/cps would have to ring this we wouldn’t need any representation. We have successfully pressured South Yorkshire Police into investigating Highways England for the death in this area and they are now waiting the CPS decision, which is taking and incredible long time. So at this moment all we can do is wait.
Regarding the background of the comments box, this is something I’ve been struggling with for months. I have changed the colour to the background, the text the image, the layout and nothing helps, but then I was a steel buyer and now I’m a campaigner! I don’t know much about website admin but I have now emailed an expert for help.
We do have a paypal link you can use to donate to the campaign as a whole though as the protests and advertising cost do really add up. I’ve just added a link to the bottom of the pages on our website.
