I travelled along the m1 Section of Smart motorway early hours of the morning due to Roadworks3 lanes Were shut and Speed Limit reduced to40 MPH. very L i ttle traffic, I was in the outside Lane, I felt very unsafe after restriction I was Surrounded by HgVs who were pushing me to go faster. I am a retired Police traffic officer but felt very Scared and intimidated.
