   I believe a huge majority of the public see the danger of the “Smart Motorway” initiative. It is breathtakingly obvious that it has increased the likelihood of critical injury to motorway users who breakdown on the motorway, heaven help the parents of small children who find themselves struggling to keep them out of danger if they have the bad luck to have to stop in traffic.
