We have instructed solicitors to bring a judicial review against the government and Highways England, to get smart motorways stopped by the courts. We are having to crowd fund to cover legal fee’s to do this, and we have received a lot of support so far which has been practical and emotional helpful at the very difficult time.
Enough donations have been donated to allow legal work to start so as not to delay the case even longer than it will already take, but we do need more. we need to raise another (approx) £18,000. please follow the link below and give what you can to help us end these death trap for once and for all.
Members of the Highways Agency should be asked if they would be happy to sit in a stationary car in the left lane of a smart motorway. Accidents can happen in SECONDS, minutes of delay are lethal. This is such common sense that it is unbelievable that these motorways have been introduced, particularly as a cost cutting measure. People would rather arrive late than dead.
