Very good day in Birmingham at the Tory party conference. Plenty of media interest and a lot of people approaching us just to tell us they support us and/or their experiences of smart motorways (unsurprisingly none of these experiences of theirs were good ones)
Bumped into Huw Merrimen, Grant Shapps however was faster moving!
Lots of achy feet back on the coach heading home after a very early start.
