The BBC Panorama second episode on Smart Motorways will air this Monday (the 17th) on BBC 1 at 7.30pm.
Myself and other campaigners are featured in this, but it concentrates on the lack of action from Grant Shapps since their episode 2 years, where he made promises in an 18 pint action plan to ‘fix’ smart motorways.

It occurred to me that you could do worse than develop an acronym for Smart motorways. I am in no doubt they were born out of a wish to save massive cost through not having to acquire extra land to widen the carriageway;
